About MeIt is important to me that you feel safe, understood, and confident about me and our work together. I believe therapy is a collaborative and transformative process in which together we will identify untapped resources, leading to newfound resilience. I offer a genuine, caring, and non judgmental environment where I support you in healing and, ultimately, thriving as you discover your inner strengths and resources. In addition to working with individuals, couples, and families in private practice, I have worked with clients at a crisis center who are experiencing grief, complicated grief, and/or traumatic loss. I have training in Multidimensional Family Therapy and have done community agency work with at risk youth and their families. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and in Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) which is an approach grounded in attachment theory and supported by neuroscience. I also have training in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT), AEDP for couples, Hakomi for couples and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy. I use various other theoretical approaches depending on your needs and goals.
